UPDATE!!

It is now February 2012 and do to other projects and some travels this site/project has come to a bit of a stop. No funding and no donations will ultimately close it down for good... on the upside I am looking at some time in March in posting new images for purchase and give this site one last push with some promotion funding. BUT I urge you to help this project for the sake of making a shy artist feel like he has a place in this world. I will be posting a bio post of Lynn Pilkington to get to know the artist more and to also share his passion for composition. Check back often as I give this site a re-boot and kick in the pants one last time this year. Please click on the donate button and I assure you any funds you give will go right into the project. New photos are coming...

In the holiday scheme of things, it has been a challenge to get things together. I have a stack of photos from Lynn (my dad) and I am working on them at the moment to share with you more of his amazing talent. He takes these images in hopes of learning painting techniques and compositions, but he clearly has an eye for photography. Again I ask to make a donation of any amount. Welcome to Pilkington Photography Blog

This is a new blog to showcase and purchase artwork by Lynn Pilkington. Through his efforts in trying to find the perfect composition in painting he goes out in the Cache Valley area of Utah looking at scenery that speaks to him. He is 75 years old and a retired bricklayer that takes throw away cameras or disposable cameras and then gets them developed. After he develops them he starts cutting and pasting and not even realizing he is using a photoshop technique makes scenery's! Some pictures are made up of 3 different scenery's, and some are just one or 2 images. The overall goal is to get a ecommerce site up and running to share these images to more people and to share the artwork of Lynn and his artistic visions through the lens. Some will be black and white, some will be in color. Please visit often as this takes off in his own new adventure in Pilkington Photography. The Below picture is the current one being available to the public - With any 15 dollar donation you will receive a 9x7 framed artwork - please email me at ry.pilkington@gmail and let me know your shipping address to mail this too. *This is maintained by my Son Ryan Pilkington and is a project conceived by him as well, I basically provide the photos to him and with some minor touch ups and in his computer the final pieces come together for a great photograph to be placed on your wall. - ENJOY!!
